Jeff Deyo (@jeffdeyo) is a worship leader, author, recording artist, songwriter, speaker, and professor who could eat Mexican food for every meal! He is known internationally as the former lead singer of the Dove Award-winning group Sonicflood. He is the voice behind the classic worship songs like “I Could Sing of Your Love Forever,” and “In the Secret.” As lead singer, primary songwriter, and coproducer, Deyo saw the band’s gold certified, self-titled debut and Grammy-nominated follow-up, Sonicpraise, reach combined sales of over one million. Deyo then released four acclaimed worship recordings “Saturate”, “Light”, “Surrender” (Live), and “Unveil.” His latest worship album offering, “Moving Mountains”, blends pop rock with a soulful groove.
Deyo is the founder of Worship City Ministries, the umbrella under which he creates, serves, and participates in a variety of ministries worldwide. From teaching at conferences to leading worship for large and small events, Deyo’s ministry exists to help worshipers deepen their walk with God by leading them into his real and transforming presence.
Initiated by Deyo in 2008, the Pure Worship Institute (PWI) was born from a vision which stirred in him to help musicians honor God with their songs and their lives. This worship conference gathers creative types from around the country to receive practical and spiritual training. From 2010 to present, Jeff has embraced the high honor of being part of the North Central University faculty in Minneapolis, MN where he continues to multiply his impact through mentoring and shepherding students that will be launched as leaders in ministries all over the world.
He still travels extensively leading worship and preaching, as well as providing worship team coaching for worship leaders. He has been happily married to his college sweetheart, Martha, since 1992. Together, they have 4 beautiful children, Roman, Evan, Channing, and Clara.
